Hong Kong Stone Project Cases

HENGSHENG MARBLE has supplied natural marble, granite, travertine, sandstone and engineered quartz to Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area since 1999. Below, our project cases are organised by district and by application, covering Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and the outlying islands. Full slabs, book-matching layouts and on-the-spot quotations are available at our Mong Kok showroom.

By District: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories & Islands

🏙 Hong Kong Island (Central, Admiralty, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, The Peak, Southern)
Hong Kong Island concentrates offices, malls, government buildings and luxury homes. Commercial projects in Central and Admiralty demand tone consistency across lobby walls and floors; large projects around the Wan Chai convention district use big-format flooring; Peak and Southern district homes focus on whole-house custom work, book-matched feature walls and marble countertops.
🏬 Kowloon (Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kwun Tong, Tseung Kwan O)
Kowloon has the highest density of malls, street shops and private housing. Mong Kok is where our showroom is located, so clients can view full slabs before ordering; museum and hotel projects in Tsim Sha Tsui demand the strictest book-matching and colour consistency; newly completed towers in Kwun Tong and Tseung Kwan O usually need fast delivery.
🏞 New Territories (Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tai Po) and Outlying Islands
The New Territories are dominated by housing estates, schools, hospitals and public facilities, with large volumes and concentrated delivery windows that test supply stability. On the outlying islands, airport and transport infrastructure projects apply the strictest controls on slip resistance, wear resistance and batch colour consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a Hong Kong stone project take?

Lead time depends on the variety, fabrication method and quantity. Standard slab stock can be scheduled immediately; custom fabrication (cut-to-size, edge profiling, waterjet inlay, thermoforming) usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from drawing approval. Final lead time is confirmed at quotation.

Should a project use marble or granite?

Interior walls, countertops and lobby floors are usually marble, chosen for veining and appearance. Outdoor paving, stair treads, bollards and parks are usually granite, which is harder, absorbs less water and offers more slip-resistant finishes.

Can we view full slabs?

Yes. You can view full slabs, book-matching layouts and finish samples at our Mong Kok showroom, or request free samples delivered to you.

Do you handle government and public projects?

Yes. Our portfolio covers government buildings, schools, hospitals, museums, sports venues and transport infrastructure, managed under ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 systems for quality, environment and site safety.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send drawings or site dimensions, stone variety, quantity, surface finish and delivery location. Project volumes can be quoted as a package, supplied direct from our own quarry to remove middleman margin.
