Core Technology

From raw block to finished installation — a complete technology methodology combining digital fabrication, nano protection, smart inspection and full-process quality control.

5-Axis CNC / Nano Coating / Smart Inspection / Craft / QC

At HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED, technology is never just a stack of equipment — it is a complete methodology that carries a slab from quarry state to final appearance. By combining digital fabrication, nano protection and smart inspection, we keep the uncontrollable variables of natural stone within a tightly managed range, so performance stays stable over decades of use.

This hub breaks down our core technology system into five pillars, explaining the principles, equipment, workflow and real-world engineering value of each — helping architects, developers, contractors and trading partners understand what stands behind the words "stone quality".

68 Quality-Inspection Nodes · From Quarry to Site

Every slab passes all 68 quality-inspection nodes one by one before delivery — any failed node quarries the entire batch for re-inspection. The table below shows node distribution and core checks across six stages.

Technology Upgrade Milestones

1999

Hong Kong Workshop Founded

Established our local stone workshop in Hong Kong, setting the route of "imported blocks + local precision fabrication" and shaping the first craft-workflow blueprint.

2008

CNC Conversion

First Italian CNC bridge saws and automated polishing lines commissioned; cut-to-size precision raised to ±0.5mm and capacity doubled.

2014

Smart Inspection Live

Machine-vision inspection commissioned, paired with human re-checks for dual judgement; the 68-node inspection system took shape.

2024

10-Year Carrara Exclusive

Signed a ten-year exclusive supply agreement with the Carrara quarry district, locking priority allocation of top-grade white-marble blocks.

2026

Smart-Factory Leap

5-axis CNC fully integrated with digital production scheduling; overall machining efficiency up 300%, with 220 proprietary processes accumulated.

FAQ

Technical FAQ

QWhat does ±0.05mm CNC precision mean on site?

For stone, ±0.05mm means curtain-wall panels install without secondary trimming, medallion joints close to ≤ 0.3mm, and joints on bevelled or shaped components are invisible from three metres. It is the foundation of the finish quality demanded by five-star hotels and landmarks.

QDoes nano protection change the stone's appearance, and how often is it reapplied?

Penetrating nano protection forms a film inside the pores — no plastic gloss on the surface; matte and polished finishes keep their original feel. In standard indoor environments the protection lasts 5 years; wet and high-traffic zones should be re-treated every 3 years. We provide re-application plans and site service.

QCan smart inspection provide traceable records for every batch?

Yes. Every cut-to-size piece carries a unique number linked to its quarry batch, machining equipment, inspection imagery and reviewer. Delivery includes an electronic quality dossier — owners and supervisors can verify piece by piece, and tenders or audits can cite it directly.

QWon't 68 inspection nodes slow down delivery?

Quite the opposite. Front-loaded quality interception sharply reduces rework, and with the 2026 smart-factory scheduling integration, overall efficiency is up 300% — standard bulk deliveries run 20% – 30% faster than industry norms.
