On 10 September 2026 HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED officially commissioned its Guangdong (Foshan) smart processing base: 45,000 m² of floor area in Phase I, four CNC bridge-saw lines, two engineering thin-panel laminating lines and waterjet intarsia stations — annual capacity above 300,000 m², forming a South China / East China dual-base structure alongside Fujian Shuitou.
With Foshan online, HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED now runs a two-base division of labour in mainland China: Shuitou handles slab warehousing, cut-to-size and bulk export orders; Foshan focuses on bespoke shaping, engineering thin panels, composite panels and waterjet intarsia, and absorbs urgent orders, top-up deliveries and re-work for Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong projects. the base is planned for a 200-strong production team, with Phase I capacity at 300,000 m²; at full build-out the plant grows to 60,000 m² and 600,000 m² a year, which together with Shuitou's 1 million m² (3,600 m²/day) gives 1.6 million m² of combined two-base capacity.
Foshan is one of China's densest clusters for architectural ceramics and stone fabrication: equipment service, tooling and consumables, skilled technicians and subcontract workshops all sit within a 30 km radius. From the Hong Kong head office the base is roughly two hours away by high-speed rail or cross-border road, so sample matching, drawing revisions and urgent top-ups for Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area projects can be answered the same day.
On logistics, the base ships through Nansha and Yantian ports, cutting sea transit to major Southeast Asian ports by three to five days versus the Fujian base, and materially widening the delivery window for Middle East and Southeast Asian orders.
Foshan runs exactly the same 68 quality-inspection nodes and batch-traceability system as Fujian: block numbering at intake, slab scanning and archiving, in-process patrol checks, final inspection and container-load photography all feed the Hong Kong scheduling system in real time. Sample number, drawing number and batch number are bound together, so any one of the three retrieves the full production record.
From Shuitou to Foshan, HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED has split the slab base from the bespoke base into two production lines — putting the factory closer to the customer is the real answer to lead time.
