Stone Facade Project Engineer
HK$28,000–48,000 / month + project completion bonus
Site-lead stone installation for large Hong Kong projects: drawing briefings, sub-frame and dry-fix acceptance, quality and progress control, and coordination with main contractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Run installation drawing briefings and mock-up approval; control material site acceptance (color, numbering, back treatment);
- Manage installers' daily progress, manpower and trade coordination; issue weekly and monthly plans;
- Accept sub-frames, connectors and dry-fix systems per HK standards (pull-out tests, welds, rust protection) for structural safety;
- Control flatness (±1.5mm), jointing and book-match quality; organize concealed and final inspections;
- Coordinate with main contractor, consultants and MEP interfaces; handle site variations and claims documentation;
- Manage site off-cuts, finished-product protection and handover cleanliness.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in civil, architectural or engineering management;
- Experience: 5+ years in curtain-wall or stone facade site management; large HK projects preferred;
- Skills: familiar with HK Buildings Department dry-fix/facade standards and acceptance flow; able to write installation plans and schedules;
- Certification: HK safety training card (Green Card) preferred; company supports certification;
- Languages: Cantonese/English working communication;
- Attributes: responsible and impartial; able to work on-site and in shifts.
Bonus Points
- Safety plan (ASP) or supervision experience a plus;
- 30+ storey super-tall facade experience a plus;
- On-site BIM application skills a plus.
