BIM / CAD Stone Detailing Designer
HK$25,000–42,000 / month + project bonus
Turn architectural and interior drawings into fabrication-ready stone documentation — shop drawings, node details and installation numbering — for landmark projects in Hong Kong and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce stone detailing from design drawings: layout and book-match, trim details, dry-hang/wet-set drawings and fabrication lists;
- Model curved walls, Roman columns and carved elements in Rhino; build stone BIM models and issue drawings in Revit;
- Prepare fabrication numbering, packing lists and installation sequence drawings aligned with the factory pre-numbering system;
- Attend drawing-review meetings with designers, consultants and main contractors; manage drawing submissions and approvals;
- Handle site technical changes and issue revised fabrication solutions;
- Maintain project drawing archives and a standard node library.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in architecture, interior design, engineering management or related;
- Experience: 3+ years in stone / facade / fit-out detailing; 5-star hotel or large public-building projects preferred;
- Skills: expert AutoCAD and Rhino; Revit preferred; able to run dry-hang node checks and layout optimisation independently;
- Knowledge: familiar with HK/EU dry-fix standards, common trim details and anti-stain back treatment;
- Languages: English for drawing correspondence and meetings; Cantonese/Mandarin communication;
- Attributes: rigorous and detail-oriented; comfortable with parallel multi-project peaks.
Bonus Points
- Grasshopper parametric layout skills a plus;
- Middle East / Europe drawing-correspondence experience a plus;
- Familiar with stone-layout optimisation software a plus.
